If you’re ever in Rhode Island, call The Big Cheese Pub in Cranston and order a “Greek Popeye” on whole wheat. I don’t know if this exists anywhere else in history, so forgive me if it’s already known. It’s a large, flattish spinach pie served with Greek salad on the side; you add the dressing to the salad, open the pie, and stuff it with the dressed salad.
Not that this can’t be duplicated i your own kitchen, mind you!!! I think it would be really easy to duplicate, however it tastes better to me when they make it.
