Cooking adventures in a small, closet sized, kitchen. - I came to realize that my meals were boring and that I had been eating the same few dishes over and over again for years. It was time for a change! I now spend my free time searching for, creating and trying tasty new recipes in my closet sized kitchen.

I've enjoyed a version of this recipe for years but yours, as usual, makes the process seem so much easier. Love the topping alternatives! Great recipe for gift giving, office parties, etx.

In reply to <a href="https://www.closetcooking.com/chocolate-cracker-toffee/#comment-107465">Danielle</a>.

I first had these several years ago and it was called Christmas Crack! I love this but trying to spread the chocolate chips after they melted was sometimes difficult as the crackers would start shifting. Frustrated the heck out of me! Am I the only one this happens to? Suggestions?

it's probably "healthier using the soda crackers, but I used to use Waverly Wafers instead; very buttery tasting. But now I should go with the soda crackers. Thanks for sharing.

The butter and brown sugar were boiling before i knew it. I poured it on the graham crackers and cooked them in the 400 oven for about 7 minutes. Then melted chocolate chips on top and then crushed walnuts. It is cooling now. May do another batch tomorrow with white chocolate and crushed candy canes. Looks great. And I'm using a new stove and oven.
