I made it tonight with your added suggestion of caramelizing the pear in butter and sugar (I used raw) and I also sprinkled it with cinnamon. I also added the nutmeg to my bechamel and a bit of cinnamon as well. It was nothing short of melt in my mouth heavenly goodness. Thank you for an amazing recipe!
