Cooking adventures in a small, closet sized, kitchen. - I came to realize that my meals were boring and that I had been eating the same few dishes over and over again for years. It was time for a change! I now spend my free time searching for, creating and trying tasty new recipes in my closet sized kitchen.

Oh yea I also used special dark chocolate chips, and it took 12 Oreos for the amount you required for crust. I got the chocolate filled ones and slid off filling. . The taste was awesome. Thanks again for the recipe.

NO I made the 7 inch dark chocolate cheesecake I put a can of country cherry pie filling on it. I picked out the cherries using a small amount of filling. It turned out perfect. Black forest dark choc cheesecake. Thank you for this recipe, and giving options for different sizes. I also used a piece of parchment paper In the bottom.
Thanks again,Melissa Edwards Bristol,Tn.

Kevin,
Just getting ready to make your dark chocolate cheesecake and thought you might want to clarify the crust instructions. I went back and read your comments before the recipe and am going to put the batter into the. Cookie crumb crust and then bake. Your recipe says to put the cookie crumb mixture into a speingform pan and then mix up the batter and put it into a greased springform pan. That makes it sound like 2 pans.
Just thought it could be clearer, though common sense dictates the way I’m going to do it.
Thanks for your recipes.
