Cooking adventures in a small, closet sized, kitchen. - I came to realize that my meals were boring and that I had been eating the same few dishes over and over again for years. It was time for a change! I now spend my free time searching for, creating and trying tasty new recipes in my closet sized kitchen.

I made them for breakfast. Yum....<br />I didn't have fresh figs, so used some big, dried Turkish figs that I pressed out into thin medallions. A nice fit on an English muffin. I broiled them on low temp about 9" from the coils. The figs became sort of chewy and caramelized. Very nice! Thanks for your inventiveness!

Jerry Traunfeld has a similar recipe that I've used many times and love. In his, he warms the honey on the stove and infuses it with thyme. Then the figs and bread are grilled. We always have the cheese at room temperature and when assembled along with some fresh thyme, it all oozes together in the best way. Good recipe for the grill outside.
