Aren’t gingersnaps called gingerSNAPS because they snap(crunchy)? While I prefer chewy cookies, ashould these be crunchy? Just curious….

Crazy I just made these cookies and even blogged about it, however my cookies look like completely different cookies even though i used the same recipe that u used for yours. your cookies look more like ginger SNAPS whereas mine look like ginger PUFFS. only change i made to my recipe was i added white chocolate chips. Goes to show that different bakers have different styles which lead to different results even if your using the same recipe

Angelic Arena: When I make the them they are a nice light golden brown. The colour comes mostly from the molasses so they should be a brown colour.
