Cooking wine generally has added sugar, salt and preservatives. Use a white wine that you would drink rather than a cooking wine. Enjoy!

Besides, if you use Hot Italian Sausage, depending on your tolerance, you may or may not want to add the crushed red pepper flakes.. I think recipe should be left as is with perhaps reference to choice of sausage.😊
