Cooking adventures in a small, closet sized, kitchen. - I came to realize that my meals were boring and that I had been eating the same few dishes over and over again for years. It was time for a change! I now spend my free time searching for, creating and trying tasty new recipes in my closet sized kitchen.

I plan on making this sauce for relatives that love hot condiments. this really sound delicious. Unfortunately, I can no longer eat anything that is in the Nightshade family of fruits or vegetables, potatoes, tomatoes, peppers sweet or hot, eggplant. As much as I would love to make a large batch of this and can it for long term storage, anything that contains flour, rice, cornstarch cannot be canned, either by the hot water batch or in a pressure canning method. For specifics, consult the National Center for Home Food Preservation. I am wondering about freezing this sauce.

Loved this, made it with shrimp and rice. I used one Thai chili instead of the peppers listed. You could use two or more but we have a wide range of space ability in our house. It had a kick to the back of the throat but without the burn that lingers. I also added a splash of fish sauce to compliment the shrimp. Delightful.

[…] I am not giving you a traditional dipping sauce recipes here, because they include several allergens (soy, sesame and/or peanuts). Instead, here is a link to 24 vegan dip recipes, so you can start with a dairy-free egg-free base. And now you can pick the safest dips for you and your guests. My favorites for these Healthy Summer Rolls are the Avocado Salsa Verde and the Pineapple Sweet Chili Sauce. […]

Hi Janet, did you have good results when you canned this recipe? I am wanting to try it, but don't think we will use it quickly. I would also like to give it as gifts. Thank you in advance.
