Cooking adventures in a small, closet sized, kitchen. - I came to realize that my meals were boring and that I had been eating the same few dishes over and over again for years. It was time for a change! I now spend my free time searching for, creating and trying tasty new recipes in my closet sized kitchen.

Kevin--
This looks amazing, as do all the recipes on your site!
For a couple of years, I have been canning apple butter, and I was just wondering, do you think this pumpkin butter could be canned safely? I would think it could, because of the vinegar...and apple butter doesn't even have that....

Just curious what you thought.

I learned that my mouth does not enjoy pumpkin butter. Or perhaps I do not enjoy concentrated pumpkin flavor.

I'm glad I made it however, and my family is eating it. Thank you for posting the recipe. The butter is lovely scented too!

www.kellikolz.blogspot.com

A huge gifted pumpkin is now tidily jarred up in it's new form...pumpkin butter. Really great stuff but oh so messy to make! I cheated and finished it in the microwave, much much faster than all that stirring and messy bubbles. I had to wash the floor when all was said and done.
Thanks for the inspiration!
