You can save your word doc as a pdf and upload it to lulu along with a cover image and that is pretty much it.

I also got my book onto iTunes and Nook through Lulu and that was a bit trickier to get the formatting the way I wanted it. If you read their guide with the formatting tips in it before you write the word doc version you can save yourself some frustration later on.
