Cooking adventures in a small, closet sized, kitchen. - I came to realize that my meals were boring and that I had been eating the same few dishes over and over again for years. It was time for a change! I now spend my free time searching for, creating and trying tasty new recipes in my closet sized kitchen.

Oh my goodness, this is divine! So, sooooooo good! I doubled the recipe, except I used the one cup of cream as indicated and then another cup of 2% milk; baby steps to lower the cholesterol in it just a touch - LOL. Made the cajun seasoning recipe linked as well, and it's perfect. Wisconsin sweet corn, recently harvested and frozen, made this really tasty. Sweet, creamy, mildly spicy - it's a hit in our home and will be made again for sure. Oh, and I didn't use biscuits, served it over rice.

I am planning on making this for a dinner party. Can the biscuits be frozen uncooked and then baked unthawed with the same results? How far ahead can the gravy be made with the cooked shrimp added just prior to serving?
