Cooking adventures in a small, closet sized, kitchen. - I came to realize that my meals were boring and that I had been eating the same few dishes over and over again for years. It was time for a change! I now spend my free time searching for, creating and trying tasty new recipes in my closet sized kitchen.

Woooo. Thanks for this info, I can't tell ya how long I've wanted to make the move from the convenient mixes at the store to my own for this very reason...the salt content. health and frugality were both a factor. I never needed much Cajun/Creole spice but as I grow older, I find it's high on my list of favs. My Jambalaya is getting quite good and I keep upping the amount of spice I add, I now add 3 TBLs a batch and am ready to go to 4 TBL So, perfect timing, I'm gonna need more Cajun spice
Anyways, appreciate you for your making this world a tastier place.

[…] and lemon are one of my favourites! This recipe is as simple as seasoning some chicken (I like a cajun seasoning), skewering it up, and grilling it, basting it with the garlic, butter, parmesan, and lemon […]

You can use sea salt and you can cut back on the amount of salt. Use as little salt as you want, you can always season the dish with salt later if desired!
