Cooking adventures in a small, closet sized, kitchen. - I came to realize that my meals were boring and that I had been eating the same few dishes over and over again for years. It was time for a change! I now spend my free time searching for, creating and trying tasty new recipes in my closet sized kitchen.

[…] Chicken parmesan is a dish where chicken is coated in breadcrumbs, fried in oil until golden brown and crispy, topped with a tasty marinara sauce along with parmesan and mozzarella that’s all melted, ooey, gooey, and good, and it’s usually served over pasta. This is a quick and easy version that’s styled more as a pasta dish where the chicken is cut up into small pieces before being sauteed in a pan, mixed with marinara sauce and cooked pasta before topping with melted cheese and a crispy breadcrumb topping! (You can even make a one-pan version where you cooke the pasta in the pan along with the chciken and marinara sauce!) This chicken parm pasta is perfect for any night of the week, including busy work nights, and it’s sure to impress, so it’s great for guests! […]

In reply to <a href="https://www.closetcooking.com/chicken-parmesan/#comment-133304">Helene</a>.

Kevin, Your recipes are all so great!
What I think I love the most is they are straightforward with fewer ingredients but still very authentic. That's the best part! I shy away from a long list of ingredients now that I have fine-tuned my cooking skills, especially when having dinner parties. The less complicated the better!!

I have always liked this in restaurants, but always thought it would be a bit daunting to make at home. I was wrong. This was so easy and far superior to what I've had in restaurants. It came out crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. Thank you for teaching this ol' girl, a new trick!

Oh my! Your version looks better than most I've eaten in Italian restaurants. Looks DE-licious! One of my very favorites. You make it sound so easy, may just have to try this one day this week.

Hi Kevin, I made this yesterday for dinner guests. It was fantastic. Used fresh oregano, and homemade tomato basil sauce and served with spaghettini. Will definitely make this again. I had made extra and reheated it tonight, and it tasted just as good. Thanks for the great recipe.
