Cooking adventures in a small, closet sized, kitchen. - I came to realize that my meals were boring and that I had been eating the same few dishes over and over again for years. It was time for a change! I now spend my free time searching for, creating and trying tasty new recipes in my closet sized kitchen.

[…] Coleslaw is one of my favourite summer salads/sides/condiments and although I usually go for the creamy mayonnaise dressed coleslaw, this vinegar based slaw is a great alternative! This coleslaw has a base of shredded cabbage with some carrots and the dressing is the simple combination of oil, tart vinegar, sweet sugar, spicy mustard, and salt. This cole slaw is as easy to make as it sounds; you simply toss the cabbage and carrots with vinegar dressing and enjoy! I like coleslaw as a salad, a side, and especially as a condiment in a sandwich with something like beef barbacoa (pictured)! […]

[…] Coleslaw, a refreshing medley of shredded cabbage, carrots, and a tangy dressing, offers a delightful contrast of flavors and textures. Crisp, crunchy vegetables are coated in a creamy or vinaigrette-based dressing, creating a harmonious blend of sweetness and tanginess. […]
