Cooking adventures in a small, closet sized, kitchen. - I came to realize that my meals were boring and that I had been eating the same few dishes over and over again for years. It was time for a change! I now spend my free time searching for, creating and trying tasty new recipes in my closet sized kitchen.

Hey Love the Brownies! I am a pastry chef in the us, and I know my stuff. Once I was confident enough with the recipe I added a teaspoon of ginger to the batter it was really good. I highly recommend this sight. And try the ginger. Cook and enjoy! Vick

I made these yesterday night- they were to die for! The only thing I changed was putting the matcha at 3 tablespoons, but I wanted a VERY strong green tea taste. Delicious!!

Hey there, I'm a huge fan of matcha and the brownies look way awesome! I've been wanting to try this but I was wondering if I could replace mascarpone cheese with cream cheese? Would it still be 1/2 cup?

I've always enjoyed your site for the photographs and recipe ideas, but this is the first time I've actually tried something out...I made these and the kare pan for a japanese-themed book club and both turned out wonderfully!! Thanks so much for posting such fantastic recipes:)

Based on what you wrote, I used 1.5 T of matcha and made the ganache with white chocolate...the green tea flavor came out beautifully. White chocolate and green tea--who knew!

They looked soooo good, I had to try and make them. I used your suggestion and used 2 tbsp of matcha. I used milk chocolate instead of dark chocolate for the ganache.
I must agree with you about the brownie/blondie being delicious. I LOVE chocolate, but I think it is too overwhelming for the green tea flavor.
It is very decadent, and the people in my office are happy today!

Thanks for the receipe!
