Ever since I discovered just how easy it is to make crispy chicken wings at home by baking them I have been much more willing to make them! I mean it is really as easy as tossing the chicken wings in a touch of oil, laying them out on a rack on a baking sheet before baking them on the top shelf of the oven and they come out nice and crispy and so good! After you are done baking them you just need to toss them in your favourite sauce and you are good to go in less than 10 minutes of minimal effort. Speaking of tasty sauces, I have a new one for you today a peanut sweet chili sauce this is irresistible and ridiculously easy to make! To the base of the sweet chili sauce you add some peanut butter, lime juice, fish or soy sauce and extra chili sauce to taste before heating it a bit to melt the peanut butter; the perfect blend of sweet, spicy, tart and salty! I think I have a new favourite chicken wing recipe and these babies will be making a showing at my party for the Big Game this weekend!
Sweet, spicy, sticky and finger licking good!

Can i buy a "sweet chili sauce" anywhere?
What kind of sweet chili sauce did you use? they look fabulous
I love all your recipes, and the photos are so nice, but they always seem to have a really orange look about them. I don't think everything you cook is that orange.. it may be if you are clicking the "enhance" link. If I do that on my photos, especially food photos I talk, it often brings out the orange in the photo. I don't know, it just looks like that to me. But the I love your recipes for sure!
…. food photos I "take" not "talk", (correction on my post)
I am a HUGE wing fanatic so I know I will absolutely love this Thai inspired twist!
Making these on game day !
I've been dying to make my own wings at home – and sweet chili is one of my favorite condiments! These are exactly what my chicken wing dreams are made of!

I am your newest follower (as of today:-) This is going to be awesome!

This article is very helpful thank you very much for sharing .
Wow these look so amazing! Love that they are baked and not fried, and the asian glaze you made for them sounds so freaking good! Definitely trying for The Big Game on Sunday!
jsgoglia: You should be able to find the sweet chili sauce in the Asian section at your grocery store or in an Asian grocery store.
Karen: I like the Mae Ploy brand of chili sauce and I use it this time.
Anonymous: This photo does have a warm tint to it but most of them should not. Maybe my monitor is miss-calibrated. Can I ask what device you are viewing with?
I made these for dinner last night, they were delicious! My boyfriend called them Pad Thai Wings. Definitely getting added to our dinner rotation 🙂 Thanks!
Used Mae Ploy spring roll sauce as the chili sauce. Daughter wanted coconut on hers, so I put some on half way thru cooking. It sneaks up on your taste buds and does a culinary strip tease for them. Then the rest of the flavors join in, and you're left singing a Thai opera… and you don't even know Thai.
Sorry… I'm ok now. 🙂
Yum yum yum this is really good. Thank you 🥰
Out of 31 reviews, 3 people had actually made the wings. Again, who cares if you think a recipe “looks good”.
Absolutely USELESS “reviews”. For Pete’s sake, make the darn “looks awesome” recipe and then comment.
