Valentine’s Day is this weekend and I have one more treat for you, a chocolate red velvet cheesecake for two! This cheesecake recipe is perfectly portioned to make two individual sized servings so it’s great for special nights like Valentine’s Day. With red being the colour of Valentine’s Day this cheesecake is nice and velvety red and it includes not one but two kinds of chocolate, melted white chocolate and a blast of cocoa powder. I made these cheesecakes without a crust to keep them light but it’s easy enough to add a chocolate crust! Feel free to serve these magical little double chocolate red velvet cheesecakes for two topped with powdered sugar, whipped cream and shaved dark chocolate along with a side of raspberries or strawberries!

Ok, I might be stupid and missing the obvious, but how does it get that lush red color? Food coloring? Because I couldn't spot anything in the ingredients that would make it red…..
Tumek: Right you are! I have added the missing food colouring!
But by "for two", you must mean "for one"….because there is NO WAY I'm sharing!
Joanne: Exactly! 🙂
Thanks for clarifying, the ingredients have been bought. 🙂
I would like to make this but as one cheesecake since I don't have two 4" spring pans. Can I combine the ingredients and make it in an 8" spring pan?
Louise Hammerl: Yes you can but I would recommend tripling all of the ingredients so that it fills the pan out a bit better. Enjoy!
These are perfect as a cute treat for my kids. I am going to use Oreo crumbs for the crust and maybe some chocolate drizzle over the top.
