It has been another great year at Closet Cooking filled with some big changes and plenty of tasty food!
As has become custom, I took the opportunity to took a look at all of the recipes that I shared in the last year (there were a lot of tasty ones!) and I collected a few of my personal favourites which you can find below.
When I first started Closet Cooking it was published on the Blogger platform which was a great place to start but I eventually outgrew it and I needed more flexibility, I needed WordPress. The only issue was that it was going to be a lot of work to move my more than 2,400 recipes over to a new platform! The thought of the time that it would take and the risk involved kept me from making the move for years but in this last year I bit the bullet and just did it! I enlisted some help for the technical side of things and the move went faster and smoother than I had expected! Most of the changes were behind the scenes but there was a theme update and a move to a new ad provider. Now I have the flexibility to implement new features on Closet Cooking a lot easier than I could before!

Shortly after the move to WordPress I added the Recipe Box feature! (Which you can find hovering on the left hand side of Closet Cooking.) The Recipe Box makes it easy to save your favourite recipes to come back to later. I hope you like it!
I have a soup on the stove right now and the aroma is driving me crazy! I think I am going to go and check on it now and I will leave you with my favourite recipes from this last year!
