Pear and Cranberry Crumble

[heart_this] · Nov 19, 2007 · 14 Comments

Pear and Cranberry Crumble

Crumbles, crisps and cobblers are some of my favorite desserts. They are really tasty and they are so easy to make; just place the fruit and/or berries in a baking dish, top with a simple crust and bake. This time I decided to try a pear crumble with cranberries for some tartness. I decided to go with my favorite topping, a rolled oats and brown sugar topping. Of course, a scoop of vanilla ice cream is always a welcome addition.

You are very generous in the crumble serving in proportion to the ice-cream!

This looks SO delicious! Crisps are my favorite, too. I love chocolate but I will take a fruity dessert over it anyday. Definitely want to try this out.

I love crumble!!!! I wish we have fresh cranberries here. Yes, crumbles are so easy to whip up, yet so scrumptious.

I’ve been buying bags and bags of cranberries because this is the only time my store sells them. This looks like a great way to use some of them!

Thanks for this. I just got a 25 pound box of pears, and had 1/2 a bag of cranberries I had no inspiration for. It was lovely, especially warm and with the ice cream.
