Summer is the season of salads and I like to have at least one dressing on hand at all times for quick salads! Honey mustard dressing is one of my favourites and it’s super easy to make at home! The base is the standard oil and vinegar combined with honey and mustard. I like to season the dressing with onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt and pepper. You can use pretty much any kind of mustard such as ballpark (aka yellow) mustard, dijon mustard, grainy mustard, etc. You can also switch up the sweetener with something like maple syrup instead of the honey! This honey mustard vinaigrette is just as good as a marinade for meats as it is as a dressing for salads!
