Slow Cooker Roasted Garlic

[heart_this] · Dec 26, 2019 · 11 Comments

Slow Cooker Roasted Garlic

Super easy roasted garlic made in the slow cooker!

Roasted garlic is simply magical! When it’s roasted the garlic goes from strong and pungent to mellow, smooth and all sorts of good! It can be spread on toast, in sandwiches, used as an ingredient in other recipes or just devoured by the spoonful! It’s pretty easy to roast garlic in the oven but it’s even easier to roast it in a slow cooker! You just place the peeled cloves of garlic into the slow cooker and cook on low all day long! I like to make it by the cup full and store it in the fridge to have on hand to use when I want it!

You only need 1 tablespoon of oil, but if you want to have some garlic infused oil, use more! Enjoy!

Does it matter what size crock pot you use?

Is it supposed to say 2+ hours, by chance? Put them in the slow cooker On low for 12 hours and they were not edible by any stretch of the imagination. Maybe my slow cooker just runs hotter.

12+ hours on low is correct. They should be golden brown and mushy by the time they are done.

4 hours and mine were done. Use your own judgement with amount of time. Twelve hours and they would have been burned and not edible either.
