Normally when I think about stroganoff I think about beef but chicken also works really well! Stroganoff is a dish where the meat is in a sauce made with onions, mushrooms, paprika, mustard and sour cream and it’s often served over egg noodles. I like to add garlic, thyme, worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, and dill to the seasoning! This dish is super simple to make, so it’s perfect for busy work nights and you can easily cook the egg noodles in the time that it takes to make the stroganoff, or you can even cook the noodles in the same pot with the sauce!

Sabrina says
maybe it was the cuts of beef that I’ve always had in beef stroganoff, tough or chewey, that I never liked but always liked the sauce and noodles, so it makes perfect sense to try to get over my past issues with this dish with chicken instead of beef, good idea, thank you!
