I am a huge fan of dill pickles and coleslaw and they go so well together! This is basically a simple coleslaw recipe with dill pickle, dill pickle juice and fresh/dried dill weed added to it! It’s so easy to make an oh so good! This dill pickle slaw is the perfect side dish for any summer meal!
Dill Pickle Coleslaw
A creamy and crunchy coleslaw with intense dill pickle flavour!
ingredients
- 8 cups green cabbage, shredded or finely chopped
- 1 cup carrot, shredded of finely chopped
- 1 cup dill pickle, diced or grated
- 1/4 cup onion, grated (optional)
- 3/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons pickle juice
- 2 teaspoons sugar (optional)
- 2 teaspoons dijon mustard (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon celery seed (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried dill (or 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
