Coleslaw is a summer classic and it’s so easy to change it up like in this buffalo coleslaw! This slaw includes all of the flavours of buffalo chicken wings, from the hot sauce to the creamy blue cheese dip, and the carrot and celery sticks that are often served with the wings. I like to keep this as a simple side but you can kick it up by adding shredded chicken and/or crumbled bacon! This buffale style slaw makes for a great side or as a condiment in sandwiches!

Thanks! I cleaned up the recipe! I do like to add bacon to this!

this is a very good idea! coleslaw to me is an afterthought or even just a garnish when served to me, but buffalo style flavor really helps offset what is otherwise too bland for me, so thank you!

I followed the recipe almost exactly: I did use your option of replacing some of the mayo with sour cream and adding sugar. I used a Smoky Blue Cheese, so I added a few drops of Liquid Smoke to the Dressing. Results were spectacular – cool, spicy, smoky, crisp. I served it with Buffalo Chicken Wings, and I will definitely try it again by adding cooked shredded chicken to make it a meal-in-one. Easily modifiable to suit anybody’s taste!
