Easy slow cooker chicken in a tasty pickle salsa verde!

Pickle salsa verde (link) is great all by itself, as dip with tortilla chips, but it’s also great ingredient in recipes like this slow cooker pickle salsa Verde chicken! This recipe is as easy as throwing chicken into a slow cooker along with pickle salsa verde (link) and turning it on! Once it’s cooked, it’s great in everything from tacos, to burritos, quesadillas, etc.

Easy slow cooker chicken in a tasty pickle salsa verde!

ingredients
  • 2 pounds boneless and skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 2 cups pickle salsa verde (link)
  • 1 onion, diced or sliced
directions
  1. Place everything in a slow cooker, and cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.
  2. Shred/pull the chicken, mix and enjoy!
Option: Add 1/2 cup sour cream, added the end, to make it creamy.
Option: Add 4 ounces cream cheese, added the end, to make it creamy.
Option: Make tacos with tortillas and your favourite toppings such as: extra pickle salsa verde (link), onion, jalapeno, cilantro, lime, avocado, guacamole (link), cheese, etc.
