Jalapeno Honey

Jalapeno Honey
Honey is an amazing sweetener and it's fun to add flavours to it, like jalapeno; that magical sweet and spicy combo! This jalapeno honey is so easy to make! You simply add sliced jalapenos to honey, bring to a simmer, and enjoy! Store it in the fridge in a sealed container and have it whenever you want! I like jalapeno honey on pancakes, on waffles (with or without fried chicken!), on bagels with cream cheese, in sandwiches, etc.

What a great recipe! I have to order "Hot Honey" online and now I can make this right in my own kitchen. Thanks for sharing.

I love the concept and love Jalapenos. Kevin, you state you use four jalapenos. Do you increase the amount of honey or keep it the same?

Are you sure about putting honey in the refrigerator? Check on a bee keepers site...

Unknown: I like it extras spicy so I go for 4 jalapenos for 1 cup of honey.

Sherry Lee: I don't normally store honey in the fridge but with the jalapenos in it I do.

Sounds delicious Not sure what I would use it for - don't eat the things you mentioned.

This sounds like it might taste similar to hot pepper jelly, which I adore. Going to try this for sure! Thanks
