Mouth watering pan seared steaks topped with balsamic caramelized onions and melting roasted garlic and porcini mushroom goat cheese butter!
This Father’s Day treat dad to a special meal, these pan seared steaks with balsamic red onions and roasted garlic and porcini mushroom goat cheese butter! Pan seared steaks are a super easy, man pleasing, meal to make and when you season those steaks with a tasty Montreal steak spice things get even better! Before I tried it for the first time, I was always scratching my head wondering why you would want to top your steak with butter but once I tried it I was hooked! There is just something about that melting butter flavour that just goes so well with steak and if that butter just happens to be a compound butter with extra flavour, like a roasted garlic and porcini mushroom goat cheese butter, it just takes it over the top! You really can’t go wrong with the steak, butter, roasted garlic, goat cheese and mushroom flavour combo! With all of the fatty juices from the steak and the creamy butter it’s nice to have some contrasting flavours to balance things out and the tangy bite of balsamic sauteed onions are the perfect match! If you are looking to show dad (or anyone) that you care, treat them to a meal of these pan seared steaks with balsamic red onions and roasted garlic and porcini mushroom goat cheese butter, and if you are feeling generous you can gift them some homemade Montreal steak seasoning and/or some roasted garlic and porcini mushroom goat cheese compound butter.
