An easy to make homemade Montreal steak seasoning that is perfect on steaks, mixed into burgers, etc!
Montreal steak seasoning is a blend of spices based on the pickling dry-rub mix used in preparing Montreal smoked meat. The steak spice can be bought at the store but it’s pretty pricy and it often contains plenty of salt. Making your own Montreal spice is easy, cheaper and so tasty! Not too mention that you can control exactly how much salt you want in it. Montreal steak seasoning is great rubbed on steaks, brisket, roast beef, mixed into burgers, mashed potatoes, etc.
Given that this is a dry blend of spices, it keeps well and it makes for a perfect gift, especially for dad this Father’s day!
