Today marks the 8 year anniversary of the start of Closet Cooking and I wanted to take the opportunity to say Happy Birthday Closet Cooking! I know that I say this every year, but I cannot believe that another year has come and gone so quickly! This last year was a busy one and although I did not share as many recipes it was still full of tasty new ones! These last 8 years have been an amazing experience and watching Closet Cooking grow from what started out as a tentative hobby into something that is an integral part of my every day life has been wondrous! These days I do spend most of my time thinking about food, dreaming about food, exploring new dishes and cuisines and sharing them with you! Really that’s what it’s all about, my love of cooking and the joy that I get from sharing my recipes with you so I would like to take the opportunity to thank you for your support and for stopping by to check out my recipes! Happy Birthday! I first discovered Closet Cooking via Pinterest and now have so many of your recipes pinned. I've made dozens if not hundreds of your dishes. I am always impressed by the authenticity of your ethnic dishes while the recipes are straight-forward and simple. I don't like to cook with shortcut ingredients (like "cream of XX soup" for example) but having method shortcuts is fine by me. Your recipes always impress the palate, present beautifully and still leave plenty of time for real life. Thank you and keep up the good work!
