Meat seems to get a lot of the spotlight with all of the summer grilling but lets not forget about the veggies as they are also great when grilled! The smokiness and caramelization from grilling really brings out the flavours veggies making them so much better! It’s easy to just throw some veggies on the grill but you can also jazz them up with some flavours and skewering them up makes them nice and portable finger food! Mushrooms are one of my favourite food and they just happen to be absolutely amazing when grilled! These balsamic garlic grilled mushroom skewers are so nice and easy to make and perfect for summer grilling and get-togethers! You just need to marinate the mushrooms in a simple and tasty balsamic garlic marinade, skewer them up and grill’em! The next time you are looking for a side or some tasty appetizers or even a light main for your outdoor grilling event remember these balsamic garlic grilled mushroom skewers!

I am super inspired!!! How delicious!
This recipe looks great. Would it work on an inside grill….like a Panini press?
I'm all about the grill in the summer time!
I don’t have a grill and I can’t use them being on oxygen. Can I put these in the oven or broiler?
The broiler will work!
Brilliant skewers!
This looks amazing! I can't wait to fire up the grill and grill up these skewers.
Yum these look good! Never grilled mushrooms like this
That looks good – great idea for my next barbecue!
What kind of mushrooms did you use?
Oh wow this looks deliicious!
Grilled veggies are the best! I'm wondering why I've never tried this before! It looks mouthwatering good!
Roasted veggies are good too
Kevin I have found your recipes to be so delightful that most of our meals are from your site. I'd like to thank you for the beautiful photos as they're what makes the recipes so inviting in the first instance, but then secondly which to make first as they're all so beautiful. With this particular recipe would it be better to soak the skewers first during the marinating time to prevent them from burning?
Josephine B: Thanks! I'm glad that you have been enjoying my recipes and photos! Yes, soaking the skerwers in water to prevent them from charring works well!
So, call me dumb, but what makes this have 9œ carbs? It's veggies….
It is customary in the culinary web industry to publish many over-sized photos of the finished recipe. I don't know why it is so because the pages take for ever to load and I usually lose patience and leave before reading the recipe. My question here is why you find necessary to publish the very same photo multiple times. As a fellow blogger, am I missing something I ought to know?
You need to get better internet.
Great recipe I will try cook this tonight. Thanks for sharing with us.
I like this dish, amazing recipe. Thanks for sharing with us.
Great recipe! Thanks for posting! Did some grilling this weekend and really enjoyed it.

peninggi badan
what kind of mushrooms?
Tom Kranz: Most will work. I like button, cremini and king oyster.
I loved it! ❤️
I tried these but had trouble putting them on skewers. The mushrooms kept breaking. I used the same skewers that you used. Did anyone else have this problem?
I have not encountered that problem. What kind of mushrooms are you using?
The wooden skewers I have on hand currently are on the thicker side. In reading the recipe, I was thinking I’d need to cut the mushrooms into thicker slices or in half. I have also put veggies in the microwave for @ a minute before skewering them. This helps with the splitting issue.
These are delicious! Made them for the family and they were loved by all. I recommend grilling them about 7 min on each side if your grill is only medium heat. (We didn’t have enough coals to get them finished in just 5 min per side). Delicious! Thanks for the recipe suggestion.
Wow, looks so yummy, I have never grilled mushrooms like this before.
Added 1/4cup of olive oil to the marinade. To save effort, I put the marinated mushrooms in a grill basket before placing them on the grill. Outstanding recipe, as always from your site!
These came out so perfect! Thank you for an oil free recipe, this will definitely be a regular go-to!
Wow, these ads that are popping up all over the page are pretty annoying!

we’d like to make these ahead for a party. If we make them and put them on skewers would it work to grill, refigerate and reheat in oven the next day?
This will not be optimal but it will work.
hmmm yummy… i love this…
Kevin…the ads are covering your pictures of the recipes…Ugh I thought they were getting worse last time I commented but NOW it is WAY WORSE!
