Spinach, feta and fresh herbs is a fabulous flavour combination that I particularly enjoy in meals like spanakopita, a Greek style spinach and feta pie wrapped in crispy phyllo pastry. Baking chicken with toppings is a dish that is super easy and the spinach and feta flavour combo is and great one for it! This dish starts with the mixture of spinach and feta along with parsley, dill, green onions, lemon and garlic along with cream cheese which help bind it all together. This mixture is spread on top of the chicken and topped with more cheese before baking until the chicken is cooked and the cheese is melted! A quick and easy meal that tastes amazing!

Kevin I love your content. Great tasting recipies and your photography
and presentation always makes me hungry. Where did you get the cast
iron baking dish? Would to get some myself. Thanks again. Chezbob
Thanks! I’m glad That you have been enjoying my recipes! That pan is actually stoneware that looks like it might be cast iron! 🙂 (I got it at a store called Kitchen Stuff Plus)
Hey Kevin, I just made this for dinner and it was fantastic! Reminds me of all of the flavors of growing up Mediterranean!
Made this for dinner tonight with a Greek salad on the side. It was fantastic! Everyone loved it! Thanks for a great recipe!
This is awesome! Used a spinach and arugula mix as that’s what I had. Absolutely fantastic! Thank you!
I made this last weekend and it was a hit! The flavours blended together perfectly! I encourage anyone to try this.

I made this on Sunday and we liked it so much I made it again tonight. I realise now that I forgot the mozzarella and I didn’t have any green onions, so the garlic was definitely not optional! It was still yummy and will feature regularly in our supper menus.

Kudos for your amazing recipes! I am a Greek Yiayia and naturally Greek cuisine is my forte. I made this and wow, it was fantastic! Everyone loved it. I highly recommend a dash of nutmeg. It adds a wonderful zing to spinach recipes. You are very creative!!!
Wonder if this might work with salmon if modified a bit
This would be good with salmon! The bake time would be less, about 15-20 minutes.
Can’t wait to make this! Can I use frozen spinach or fresh is best?
I like fresh but frozen (thawed and squeezed) works! Enjoy!
Ich würde das Rezept gerne nächste Woche mal ausprobieren. Mir stellt sich nur die Frage, was essen wir dabei? Reis, Kartoffeln, Nudeln, Kroketten oder braucht es keine Beilage?
This goes really well over pasta or rice!
