Taco Burgers

Taco Burgers

Quick, easy and tasty burgers with all of the flavours of taco night tacos!

Taco burgers are one of my favourite burgers and I since I’ve made them a few times this summer I thought that I would take the opportunity to update the recipe! The basic idea behind taco burgers is burgers with all of the flavours from taco night tacos! This means starting off with some taco seasoned beef patties and loading the burgers up with your favourite taco filling like lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, avocado/ guacamole, salsa, etc! As far as the patties go, I like to do them in a number of different ways, with the easy way being to simply mix homemade taco seasoning into ground beef and sometimes I mix in other taco flavours like cheese, salsa, cilantro, etc. One of the beautiful things about taco burgers is that you can make the as you like! No matter how you decide to make your taco burgers, they are quick, easy, tasty and family friendly!

The downside to being a food blogger is that as you travel from post to post, your brain gasps each time and asks the stomach 'You sure you aren't hungry? You must be. Right? Come on.." and so on. This burger has started an internal debate. Oh boy!

I’ve pan fried, grilled and baked ground beef a thousand times and never knew to make an indention in the top of the burger to prevent bulging. I most definitely will try this little trick on my next burgers, especially your “Taco Burgers.” Cheers to you. Keep these tasty recipes coming!!!
