Grocery stores are filled with premade spice blends but it’s pretty easy to make your own! Greek seasoning is one that I use often enough to like to have it on hand to quickly season Greek style recipes! This Greek style seasoning contains a few herbs that are commonly used in Greek cuisine including: oregano, parsley, dill, thyme, and marjoram, along with some garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. I like to make a batch of this seasoning and store it in a sealed container so that it’s ready to quickly throw into a meal. One of my favourite things about making your own spice blends is that you can control what’s in it! Don’t like one of the herbs? Remove it! Really like an herb? Use more of it! Trying to control your sodium intake? Reduce or even remove the salt! No matter how you make this Greek seasoning, it’s super easy to have on hand to throw into your next Greek style meal!
