Today’s recipe is a simple way to enjoy the recent balsamic grilled flank steak recipe, in a salad! On hot summer days I like to have light meals, that do not require a lot of work or cooking and simple salads with a grilled meat are perfect! This meal is as easy to make as grilling a steak, and serving it on a bed of lettuce, tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella, avocado, onion and basil, all dressed in a tasty balsamic vinaigrette. Other than grilling the steak, which can be done outside, there is no oven or stove time so you don;t have to worry about adding extra heat to your house on an already hot day! This balsamic grilled flank steak caprese salad is a light, healthy and tasty meal that’s great for summer dining!

One of your pictures shows the grape tomatoes raw and the other one shows them obviously either having been grilled or cooked on a stove top grill pan because they have marks. It would be great if you would explain to people how to make it look like your photo!
