Pizza is one of my favourite foods and I have turned it into a dip with layers of ooey gooey melted cheese, pizza sauce and plenty of my favourite pizza toppings, like pepperoni! I am also obsessed with stuffed crust pizza, I mean you really can’t go wrong with finding new ways to add even more cheese to pizza and stuffing it into the crust is a great way to do just that! The other day I was thinking that a stuffed crust version of my pizza dip would be amazing! Just the idea of having a crust stuffed with cheese surrounding that oh so tasty hot melted cheese pizza dip was divine and then that same cheese stuffed crust becomes the perfect way to scoop up all of that dip! Perfect! This stuffed crust pizza dip could not be easier to make! You simply take a pizza dough, divide it into a bunch of small balls, stuff them with cubes of cheese and place them around the outside of a baking dish, surrounding the dip, and bake it until the dough is lightly golden brown and the cheese dip has melted! If you want to make it even simpler, use a store bought pizza dough or even crest roll (or other) roll dough! As much as I like my original pizza dip, this stuffed crust pizza dip is the new king of the dips! It’s finger licking good and the perfect food for watching the football game this coming weekend!

I made this, it was good. I didn't feel like pulling out my cast iron so I used a pie pan, but that meant I used about half the filling in the middle. The family seemed to enjoy it. I served sliced peppers with ranch dip and blackberries on the side.

I made this for Super Bowl yesterday and it was delicious! I used pizza dough from Trader Joes and cut string cheese into cubes for the stuffing. I was literally gone within 5 minutes!!! ????

I just see magic in those hands
Looks sooo delicious
Janice says
Do you bake the crust and the filling together in one pan? It sounds like they are cooked separately.
kevin says
Everything is baked in the pan at once! Nice and easy! Enjoy!
Jackie says
This would be a good recipe subbing Brazi Bites for the circles of dough.
Add the mozzarella cubes to the cheese topping. How could it not be wonderful too?
Pat says
Does the pizza crust have to rise in the pan? If so do you wait to add the filling?
kevin says
The stuffed balls around the outside will rise. The center does not have a crust underneath the dip so it does not rise. Everything is placed in the pan and baked at the same time. Enjoy!

Hi Kevin! This was so delicious. I will be making this over and over. I took a mozzarella cheese stick and cut it into quarters and then I took some canned pizza dough, cut that into 16 little squares and wrap that around each little piece of mozzarella and then followed the rest of your recipe verbatim. Everyone loved it. It makes about 6 to 8 servings For us because it’s so rich. I suggest that you buy another can of pizza dough or however you want to do your pizza dough ,and make extra balls just with the mozzarella in them because the ratio of dip to stuffed mozzarella crust was generous. It was super yummy and we will definitely be making this again and it was super easy too.
