This will be the last new grilled cheese for the National Grilled Cheese Month and it is possibly the tastiest, the taco grilled cheese. The basic idea is to take all of the flavours of taco night and stuff them into one rather large grilled cheese sandwich! This sandwich starts with some taco seasoned ground beef made with a homemade taco seasoning and then it continues with the classic taco toppings including salsa , lettuce, tomato, sour cream, guacamole and it is of course finished with plenty of melted cheese! With all of those ingredients this is one large sandwich and with the salsa, sour cream and guacamole in there it can be one messy sandwich. Feel free to omit the salsa and sour cream from the sandwich and serve them on the side for dipping and it is also fun to serve this grilled cheese topped with them along with the guacamole and eating it with a knife and fork. This sandwich is definitely a nice way to celebrate the upcoming Cinco de Mayo in grilled cheese style!
Taco night has never been better than this!

This looks like the best grilled cheese! I'm getting hungry just looking at it…Wow!!!
This is one amazing-looking grilled cheese!
Soft tacos, hard tacos, taco salad, taco casserole; these variations of a taco we have made but not one like this. A must try!
totally amazing. Sad it's the last one- I have never seen such wonderful sandwiches in all my life!!!
That is a sandwich! Happy 6 years!
Omg, this is epic!!! This may be the best darn grilled cheese I've ever seen!
This is seriously making my mouth water
Kevin, I don't know how you come up with crazy amazing after crazy amazing recipes! Drool-worthy, every time!
Ooh, that looks so messy and so delicious! It looks like it would be perfect for the newly spring like weather we're finally having. Thanks for sharing.
Man o man, I;m making that pretty little fucker as soon as I get home!!
This was very good, but I thought the butter taste did not go with the other flavors very well. Next time I'll grill it with no butter – I've done it before with plain grilled cheese and actually prefer it. Wish I'd remembered that fact beforehand! It was not as messy as expected, which is a plus. It's definitely worth a try.
Mari Victorius: I'm glad you liked it! I like butter flavour here but you could easily omit the butter or replace it with oil, mayo, etc.
Perfect breakfast for my husband. At least is what he said
This was so good! Such a creative way tot use leftover taco meat. It was a little messy, but I don't think knife and fork messy. Delicious!!
Michelle: I'm glad you like it! Sometimes the messiest sandwiches are the best! 🙂
When I print your recipes, which I love, but when I print them, there’s a big ad in the middle and it hides some of the instructions. Is there anything I can do about this?
Hi Matt! Are you using the red “Print Recipe” button in the middle of the recipe? There should be no ads in that print. If you are using the “Print Recipe” button and seeing an ad, please send a screenshot of the print print preview with the ad to [email protected] and let me know what kind of device and what app you are using so that I can track it down and remove it. Thanks!
