21 Cookies for the Holidays
With the holiday season here it is time to get baking! I am a little late starting the cookie baking this year but I plan to make up for it starting now. I have my favourite holiday cookie recipes dusted off and ready to go along with a list of some new cookie recipes that I want to try this year. You can never have too many cookies over the holidays whether you are entertaining, throwing a party giving them away as gifts or even just to snack on yourself. It is always nice to have a variety of cookies on your platter so that everyone can find something they like and perhaps even try some new ones! Enough of my rambling, I am here to share with you a few of my favourite holiday cookies and here they are:

My grandmother was born in Canada, and though she wasn't an especially dedicated or talented cook, she made Nanaimo Bars. When I was a kid we simply never saw them in the US. They're still fairly unusual, but they're just about the most delicious thing ever invented. Why they've never caught on in the US is a real mystery to me.
This is a fantastic list and I have bookmarked a few. But, those bacon chocolate chip cookies! Those will be first in the oven.
